On-line live leaksealing allows any steam, air, water or chemical leak to be sealed and contained whilst still in operation. This allows the plant to continue production while improving efficiency and safety. This service can be carried out on a full array of leaking components including but not limited to:
Bolted joints
Valve glands
Valve bonnet joints
Piping defects and corrosion
Passing valves and defective steam traps
Products can range from -40 to 600degC and from vacuum to over 200Bar.
Hot tapping provides a means of adding a new branch or tie-in to an existing pipe or vessel while keeping the system in its operational state. This means no costly shutdowns to plant and no problematic drain-downs of systems are required to complete modifications. This service can be carried out up to 100mm into any size of pipework and upto 100Bar pressure.
Pipe-freezing uses liquid nitrogen to freeze the contents of a pipe providing temporary isolation.
Benefits of this technique include:
Reduced remedial work
Reduced loss of line contents through drain down
Cost effective set-up
Quick turn around
